Award eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the Outstanding Early childhood Teacher Award the educator that you are nominating must meet the following eligibility criteria.

  • Educator works in an early childhood education and care service or program in the Northern Territory including; long day care, family day care, kindergarten, preschool, outside school hours care, playgroups or other service catering for children aged from birth to 5 years (up to 12 years of age for OSHC).
  • Educator must hold an ACECQA approved degree qualification.
    Nominated educators will be contacted to provide evidence of their qualification/s prior to their nomination being considered by the judging panel.
  • Educator’s nomination is endorsed by their supervisor or service provider.
